A transformer fire is currently impacting residents in Georgetown and the Toronto Premium Outlets.
A transformer fire is currently impacting residents in Georgetown and the Toronto Premium Outlets.
According to police, a transformer exploded in Acton causing a power surge which is impacting Georgetown residents.

A number of residences have reported smoke due to the power surge.
Additionally, we are on the scene of two residential fires, one on Ballantine Dr. and one on Lookout Court, both in Georgetown.

Toronto Premium Outlets has been evacuated as a result of this incident due to the smoke, however, police say all occupants are safe.
