Toronto gourmet ice cream shop opening location in Square One, Mississauga

A Toronto ice cream shop is opening a location in Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga.

Scooped By Demetres, which has four shops in Toronto, is opening in Square One soon.

The shop has a 35-year history in the city and says is “the best ice cream in Toronto.”

“It’s ultra-rich, super creamy, and just very, very tasty,” Scooped says on its website.

There is a range of unique flavours including Lemon Curd Blueberry and Double Baked Apple Pie.

The Cajeta Swirled Goat Cheese combines goat cheese swirled with cajeta (dulce de leche made from goat’s milk). There’s also a Cinnamon Roll For The Soul, a Cherry Rose Cheesecake, the Lavish Chocolate Cherry and the Office Coffee.

The shop also offers a line of sorbettos, which are vegan.

The new location is on the second level beside Wireless+ in the former Laura Secord shop, which closed in April 2023.

The opening date has not been announced.
