Three times is a charm for one Mississauga lottery player who is taking home his third lottery win this month.

Jeffrey Gurczenski of Mississauga won the Poker Lotto All in jackpot worth $92,131.50 on Aug. 26, 2022, according to a press release from Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG). He also won an additional $5,000 on the instant portion of his Poker Lotto play bringing his total winnings to $97,131.50.

But this isn’t the first win for Gurczenski, a retiree. He won $10,000 with the lottery twice in the past – both times with Wheel of Fortune.

“I’ve been a regular lottery player for 10 years. When I discovered my win, I was in pure shock, ” he said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.

Gurczenski said his heart immediately started to race.

“And my hands started to shake. I feel lucky and happy,” he said.

He has no major plans yet and will invest his winnings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Quick Smoke and Variety on Dixie Road in Mississauga.
