Three suspects wanted after 12 year old assaulted and robbed in Welland

Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are looking for three suspects wanted for involvement in a robbery in Welland on Friday (Apr. 29).

At 2:12 p.m. Niagara Regional Police officers responded to the area of Thorold Road and Chippawa Street and located a 12-year-old male suffering from minor injuries.

The victim was transported to a local hospital by Niagara Emergency Medical Service (NEMS) and has since been released.

Police believe the victim was assaulted by three individuals and had his personal items taken during the altercation.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident are encouraged to contact Niagara Regional Police Service.

Police describe the three suspects as follows:

Suspect one is a white male, 13-years-old, 135lbs, 5’11” with long brown hair.

The second suspect is a white male, 14-years-old, 95lbs, 5’11” with short brown hair.

The last suspect is also a white male, 15-years-old, 150lbs, 5’0” with brown hair.

Detectives assigned to the case can confirm that the victim and suspects were known to one and other and this was an isolated incident.
