This Mississauga Resident is Celebrating Significant Lotto Win

A lucky Mississauga resident is celebrating a significant lottery win.

Maria Resendes, a 75-year-old retiree, has won $100,000 in the Feb. 16, 2019 Lotto6/49 Super Draw.

“I’m happy – I hope someone else can feel happy the way I do,” Resendes said in an OLG press release.

The widowed mother of four, and grandmother of six, plans on using the money to help her kids, pay bills, fix her teeth and plans to save the rest.

The winning ticket was purchased at Deer Run Market on Creditview Road in Mississauga.
