Four Brampton men have been arrested in Mississauga after a $50,000 liquor heist in Richmond Hill.

York Regional Police officers spotted four men at the backdoor of the LCBO on Yonge St and High Tech Rd. on Dec. 14. The men were allegedly pulling boxes out of the LCBO and stacking cases of booze out back. Three others kept a lookout inside the store itself.

After all four men left through the front of the store they came around and loaded up a car with the waiting cases, police say. From the LCBO, the quartet made its way to a Mississauga parking lot. Police did not specify where in the city this parking lot is.

On arrival, the men began to load the booze into a shipping container. After watching for a while the police officers arrested the men.

They’ve charged four suspects with two counts of theft and possession of stolen property. All four men hail from Brampton. They are;

  • Shamsher Singh, 26,
  • Jaswinder Singh, 55,
  • Lovepreet Singh, 27, and
  • Shehnajdeep Singh Brar, 25

Allegedly police found methamphetamine and heroin on Brar. As a result, he faces additional charges of six counts of failure to comply with a release order, six counts of breach of probation and two counts of possession for trafficking. He was on probation for unrelated charges when he was arrested.
