Take a free ride to Summerfest on June 1 on Milton Transit

For the second time in two days, Milton Transit has announced a free ridership program for June.

Yesterday, the department said that, in recognition of June being Seniors’ Month, every Wednesday in June will see seniors being able to ride Milton Transit for free.

Today’s announcement is in relation Summerfest, the all-day event in downtown Milton on June 1.

Milton Transit has said all fixed-route, OnDemand, and Milton access + service rides will be free for everyone during the Downtown Milton SummerFest on June 1, 2024.

The free transit, which will be extended until 8:30 p.m. for the day, is being sponsored by Milton’s MTB Transit Solutions.
