SUV stolen at gunpoint outside Brampton business: Police

Peel Regional Police are investigating after an SUV was stolen at gunpoint outside a Brampton business early this morning (April 18).
Police say the incident occurred outside a business in the area of Mountainash Rd. and Bovaird Dr. E. just after 5:30 a.m.
A man described as being in his 30s, with a heavy build, and wielding a gun demanded the SUV from its driver.
The victim did not sustain any physical injuries during the course of the robbery, police said.
Police are on the lookout for a black Cadillac Escalade with the licence plate CMKY658.

Update: Police say a suspect is in custody after he was located inside a place of worship near Airport and Derry Rds., by Pearson Airport in Mississauga.
Shortly after 8 a.m., a patrol officer spotted the stolen SUV in a parking lot in that area, and police responded in full force.
Police remain on the scene conducting an investigation.
