Suspect strikes police cruiser while fleeing traffic stop in Mississauga

Officers are searching for the suspect of a fail-to-remain incident this afternoon.
Around 12:23 p.m., police say they attemped a traffic stop in the area of The Collegeway, east of Erin Mills Parkway.
The driver reportedly failed to stop and struck a police cruiser while driving away, doing considerable damage to the vehicle.
No injuries have been reported.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a black Audi with damage to its passenger side and a licence plate beginning with M.
The Collegeway is closed between Erin Mills Parkway and South Millway as the investigation continues.
