Halton police are searching for a suspect in relation to a break and enter in Halton Hills.

Officers were dispatched to the Best Western Hotel in Georgetown at 365 Guelph St. on July 17 around 1 a.m.

That’s when a man “was inadvertently confronted by a member of staff,” say investigators, who found the suspect hiding in the laundry room area with a screwdriver.

The man fled the scene on foot.
