Suspect on the Run After Stolen Vehicle Crashes in Brampton

One suspect is in custody and her alleged partner in crime is on the run after a stolen vehicle hit a tree in Brampton late Thursday.

One suspect is in custody and her alleged partner in crime is on the run after a stolen vehicle hit a tree in Brampton late Thursday.

Investigators are “looking for the second party who’s actually the driver,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Iryna Yashnyk.

Police were sent to a fail to remain crash near Chinguacousy Rd. and Queen St. W. at 11:13 p.m., where two people fled from the scene.

The female is being charged with possession of stolen property.
