Summer festival in Milton to result in road closure

A summer festival that’s taking place in Milton this weekend will result in a road closure.

The road closure will take place on Main St. for Downtown Milton SummerFest on Saturday, June 18.

Additionally, there will be no parking on Main St. between Brown St. and Fulton St. as well as in the Brown St. parking lot #1 for the event.

Any cars in these spaces at 7:30 a.m. will be towed.

The event, hosted by the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (DMBIA), will feature music, activities for kids and more.

“We’re looking forward to having you with us at this event to kick off the summer!” said the DMBIA in an Instagram post.
