The exotic prototype and GT race cars of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship return to CTMP in 2022 for their only Canadian date for Chevrolet Grand Prix this Canada Day weekend.

The series features a world-class field of drivers piloting the leading performance brands such as Cadillac, Corvette, Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes and Porsche.

Two other popular IMSA championships – IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and the IMSA Prototype Challenge – will make their only north-of-the-border stop.

Two new series celebrating the golden age of motorsport have been added to the SportsCar Grand Prix weekend: the Masters Historic Formula One, with cars from 1966 through to 1985, and the Masters Endurance Legends Series for prototype and GT race cars from 1992-2016.

The SportsCar Grand Prix weekend provides fans an unforgettable experience, with fun, interactive activities such as the ‘Open Grid Walk’ driver autograph sessions, and open team paddocks. The Sunday morning Open Grid Walk allows spectators to gather in pit lane, along with all the cars, drivers and crew moments before the green flag falls.

The paddock areas are located on the infield at the north end of the circuit, near the start/finish straight. Access to the Open Grid Walk and paddock is included with your event ticket purchase.

For a great selection of race souvenirs, merchandise, and other cool items, the CTMP Merchandise Trailer is the place to go, located near the paddock restaurant area.
