Staples launches hiring blitz in Mississauga, Brampton and across the country

Staples Canada has launched a hiring blitz in Mississauga, Brampton and across the country as it’s already planning its back-to-school campaign for the end of summer.
The Toronto-based office and school products company says it’s seeking more than 1,000 associates nationwide to fill seasonal, part-time and full-time positions in time for its annual August push as the return to school looms.
Available positions are in stores and contact centres, and in areas of supply chain, sales, print and tech hubs, as well as corporate roles.
The positions are posted on the Staples website, with in-person and virtual interviews available.
Staples has six locations in Mississauga and three in Brampton, in addition to dozens more across the GTA and Golden Horseshoe.
“The back-to-school season is the most exciting time of year for Staples associates; it’s a time where we get to connect with our customers to enable their success and inspire them for months to come,” said Wanda Walkden, Staples chief human resources and communications officer. “We’re invested in bringing in the best and brightest talent to inspire our customers and our communities, while also helping our associates further their own development and growth.”

Staples employs more than 11,000 people at 300-plus locations across Canada. The company has a presence in every province and the Northwest and Yukon territories.
All locations are looking to fill a variety of roles, company officials say.
