St Catharines shuts down washrooms at Montebello Park after fire

St Catharines residents visiting Montebello Park yesterday (August 17) may have noticed a key amenity was unavailable.

The city reported the washrooms at Montebello Park were temporarily closed, until further notice, after a small fire inside the building.

“The incident is under investigation and the City will work to reopen the facility as soon as possible,” said the city.
