After months of closure, the St Catharines Museum is back up and running as of tomorrow (July 16).

Of course, it will be at 50 per cent capacity as Ontario enters Step 3 of its Roadmap to Reopen. And rather than stay open 9 am to 4:30 pm, the museum had broken it down into four separate touring times with enhanced cleaning in between sessions.

As such, visitors can enjoy the facility during the following time slots:

  • 9 to 10:30 a.m.
  • 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • 1 to 2:30 p.m.
  • 3 to 4:30 p.m.

And, of course, facemasks, physical distancing and screening requirements remain in effect for those entering the facility.

The St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canals Centre, including the Lock 3 Viewing Platform, along with other City of St. Catharines recreational facilities will reopen with a focus on balancing public health, community impact, and feasibility.
