The southbound lanes of the Upper Wentworth bridge above the Lincoln Alexander Parkway have re-opened as police investigate a fatal collision Tuesday.
A male cyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle just before 5:30 a.m., leading to closures in both directions.
Police say the passenger of a 2014 Honda Odyssey called 9-1-1 to report that they were involved in a collision involving a cyclist.
When emergency crews arrived, the cyclist was found without vital signs before being transported to hospital and succumbing to their injuries.
The northbound lanes remained closed as of 10:05 a.m.
