Six Schools Under Hold and Secure in Mississauga

At least six schools are under hold and secure in Mississauga after reports of an armed suspect on Tuesday morning.
Peel police are in the Hurontario St. and Bristol Rd. area just before noon.
Schools under hold and secure include Barondale PS, Bristol Road Middle School, Nahani Way PS, St. Francis Xavier SS, St. Jude Separate School, and San Lorenzo Ruiz.
It’s a busy day for police with another Mississauga high school already in lockdown.
The lockdown is unrelated.
UPDATE: The suspect has been arrested, say police, and no weapon was found.
