Interested in your family history? Always had a penchant for genealogy? The Halton Hills Public Library has a regular program for you.

The Genealogy Circle is a group of like-minded individuals who are passionate about history. The upcoming meeting’s topic is That Amazing Ancestor.

It’s perfect if you have uncovered some fascinating facts about an ancestor or a piece of family folklore.

Genealogy Circle meets monthly to learn about genealogy research and discuss findings. Whether you are just starting your family history research, or have already compiled an extensive family tree, you’re welcome to join the group.

Meetings are held in the studio at the Georgetown library branch, with time for members to chat about research, ask questions, and provide research tips, with some meetings featuring guest speakers or presentations of interest.

The next meeting is Saturday, Feb. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon.

To register, visit the Halton Hills library website.
