Senior faces sex assault and indecent act charges in Hamilton

Tensions in the Middle-East could reverberate in Hamilton, police say

A 74-year-old man from Hamilton is accused of committing a sexual assault and indecent acts when he provided seasonal lawn maintenance and snow removal services to elderly women.

Hamilton police have charged Joseph Batrynchuk with the crimes that they said occurred over an “extended period of time.” They did not release more details.

Police believe there may be more victims and encourage anyone with information to contact investigators.
