Second-alarm fire breaks out at Mississauga home

Multiple homes were impacted by a fire that broke out early this morning (July 11) in Mississauga.

Firefighting crews responded to a second-alarm fire at a house Ashridge Place, near the intersection of Central Parkway and Burnhamthorpe Road.

No injuries have been reported.

The fire also affected the adjacent house, according to Mississauga Fire Chief Deryn Rizzi.

“Some great tactical decisions made (deck gun from the Charlie side) to minimize the damage and prevent further spread of the fire. A great job by A Platoon!” said Rizzi.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
