Schools in hold and secure due to possible dangerous weapons in Mississauga

Reports involving the sighting of potentially dangerous weapons has prompted several hold and secures in Mississauga. 

Peel police say officers are responding to a report of a male with gun or knife in the area of Dream Crest Rd. and Fallingbrook D. 

As a result, the following schools are in hold and secure: 

Rick Hansen PSS
Fallingbrook PSS
St. Herbert CES

A call regarding the incident came in at 1:02 p.m.

Police say the hold and secures have been lifted on all three schools. A male suspect was located and taken into custody.
