School bus cancellations for southern Ontario

Snowy, wet weather has cancelled some school bus routes in southern Ontario.

Snow squalls are impacting travel in areas in the northern parts of the Greater Toronto Area.

Here are the school bus cancellations for Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Halton, Durham Region and other southern Ontario cities and towns forApril 4, 2024:

Peel:

Schools are all open.

The Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board buses in STOPR Zone 3, including all buses to RF Hall are cancelled today due to weather conditions.

All buses in Zone 3 are cancelled for the Peel District School Board.


Halton:

Schools are all open.

No bus cancellations had been announced by 7 a.m.


Hamilton: 

Schools are open and services running, but there were 22 delays this morning.


Durham Region:

All schools are open.

There are no cancellations announced but there were eight delays this morning.


Niagara Region:

All schools are open.

There are no cancellations announced but there were five delays this morning.


Student Transportation Services of Central Ontario:

Due to overnight snowfall and poor driving conditions throughout the STSCO jurisdiction (Peterborough, Northumberland, Clarington), all school busing and student transportation is cancelled today. Schools remain open.


Simcoe:

All schools are open.

Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium announced that all school buses are cancelled.
