Lincoln is giving the neighbourhood near the Rotary Park at 5020 Serena Drive in Beamsville some advance warning.

The park will be shut down from October 4 to 12 for some remedial work and there could be some noise during the day.

On Monday, October 4, the pump track will be closed. Extended periods of additional noise are expected from the site, resulting from the required drilling for the pump track’s drainage system.

On Tuesday, October 5 and Wednesday, October 6, there will be extended periods of both additional noise and continued dust from the site, resulting from the required saw cutting for concrete removal.

Shannon McKay, Lincoln’s Director of Community Services Department, said, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disruption that this work may cause to residents and businesses in the area, and we truly thank you for your continued patience through this construction project.”

“We are looking forward to celebrating the park opening with the Lincoln community before the end of October.”

Residents with questions or concerns can contact McKay at (905) 563-2799 ext. 287.
