Police are searching for three suspects involved in an armed robbery this afternoon.

Around 5:40 p.m. police reported a robbery near the Hershey Centre in Mississauga. The perpetrators were armed with a gun, a hatchet, and a baseball bat. No injuries were reported, thankfully.

The suspects are described as three black men. The first, wielding a gun, was seen wearing a blue ski mask, camo hoodie, and blue/white shoes. The second suspect carried a hatchet and wore a black/blue ski mask, blue Canada Goose jacket with fur, and ripped black jeans. The third suspect wielded a baseball bat and was seen wearing a white sweatshirt and grey/black Roots sweatpants.

The three were last seen travelling eastbound on Matheson Boulevard towards Tomken.

Tactical and K9 units are currently searching for the suspects. Police have asked citizens to avoid the area for now.

UPDATE: Police have cleared the area.
