Road Closed for Gas Leak in Mississauga

Residents should be aware of a closure this morning.

Police received a call at 10:11 a.m. after workers hit a gas pipe in the area of Lisgar Drive east of Derry Road West, causing a gas leak.

Mississauga Fire has been called to the scene.

No injuries are reported and there were no evacuations.

Lisgar is currently closed in both directions between Rippleton Lane and Yarrow Avenue, and will remain closed until noon.

Police ask residents to avoid the area for now.
