Road Closed Due to Vehicle Fire in Mississauga

A major road is partially closed because of a vehicle fire in Mississauga, police say.

Peel police say Bristol Road West is shut down in both directions at Fallingbrook Drive because of the incident.

A call regarding the blaze came in at 1:15pm.

Police say no injuries have been reported at this time. 

Commuters are asked to use alternate routes.

UPDATE: Police say the roadway is now open at Bristol Road West and Fallingbrook.
