Police say they received a call at 9:41 a.m. for a possible gas leak in the area of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Embleton Road.
Northbound Winston Churchill at Embelton is currently closed as Brampton Fire investigates, assisted by police.
Residents should avoid the area until further notice.
