One of the most popular rollercoasters at Canada’s Wonderland was stopped on Wednesday and a guest was kicked out of the park.
Grace Peacock, a spokesperson for the Vaughan amusement park, told INsauga.com that a ride operator “immediately stopped” the Leviathan when they noticed that guest had moved his seat belt.
An image posted on Reddit shows the ride stopped on the lift hill.
It happened at around 2:30 p.m.

“Safety is a cornerstone of our business,” Peacock said.
“The ride was resumed when it was confirmed the belt had been re-engaged. The guest was removed from the park for violating our safety policies.”
Peacock noted that the lap bar is the ride’s primary restraint system, with the seat belt being a secondary restraint.
“Ride safety is a partnership between guests and our park,” she said.
“It’s important for guests to follow all posted guidelines and verbal instructions, including ride restraint procedures.”
