Residents being evacuated after fire breaks out at Brampton residence

Crews are on scene for a house fire in Brampton this morning.

The fire was reported shortly after 11 a.m. at a home at Carberry Crescent/Archdekin Drive, near the intersection of Rutherford and Vodden.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

Police say nearby houses are being evacuated and road closures are in place at Carberry, Archdekin and Herkley Drive.

Residents are asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
