The William Osler Health System is looking for registered nurses who want to make a difference in the community with compassionate care to join the team at Brampton Civic Hospital.

Osler is holding a virtual career fair this month to seek out registered nurses for multiple departments at Brampton Civic, including the emergency, cardiology, women’s and children’s labour and delivery, and mental health emergency services units.

“William Osler Health System invites you to answer the call to make a difference,” Osler said on the career fair job posting. “Your community needs your skills, your compassion and your energy.”

Osler, which also oversees the operations at the Peel Memorial Centre and Etobicoke General Hospital, said joining the health system as a registered nurse is an opportunity for “incredible exposure and challenging hands-on opportunities to stay at the top of your game,” while immersing yourself in a culturally diverse, collaborative, and innovative environment.

“You will play a key role building out a healthcare program that addresses the needs of people from all over the world and all levels of income, experiencing minor and life threatening injuries and diseases,” Osler said.

There are also openings for registered nurses at Etobicoke General in the Emergency, Critical Care, General Medicine and Hemodialysis departments.

The health system is accepting applications for full-time and part-time registered nurses. All applicants are required to include their resume with their online application, and all qualified candidates will be contacted for a virtual interview.

The Osler digital career fair runs on Sept. 15 and Sept. 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information visit www.williamoslerhs.ca.
