RED CARD CLOSURE: Popular Indian restaurant forced to close in Brampton

UPDATE: The restaurant has reopened after passing a follow-up inspection on May 3.

A popular Indian restaurant in Brampton has been shut down following a failed health inspection.

Fresh Tandoori, located at 945 Peter Robertson Blvd, was inspected and closed by Peel Health on Thursday, May 2.

According to the inspection report, the restaurant was not maintained “free from any condition that is a health hazard.”

The restaurant may reopen after passing a follow-up inspection at a later date.

This is the only failed inspection on Fresh Tandoori’s public health record.
