RECALL: Meat products pulled from shelves in Ontario

Certain meat products are being pulled from shelves in Ontario.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said in a notice that certain hot dog, beef jerky, and pepperette products are impacted.

The CFIA said they contain mustard and soy, which isn’t declared on the label.

“Do not consume recalled products to which you are allergic or sensitive as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction,” the CFIA said.

“Do not serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.”

The CFIA said it’s conducting a food safety investigation which could lead to more recalls.
