RECALL: ‘Immediately stop using’ this product sold on Amazon in Canada

Consumers are being advised to “immediately stop using” a product that was sold on Amazon in Canada.

Health Canada issued an alert on Wednesday amid one reported incident.

The affected product is the COHEALI Wooden Pacifier Clip.

“The product is intended for children under three years of age,” Health Canada said.

“The screw linking the wooden piece to the metal clip can become loose, posing a choking risk to children….

“Consumers who have this affected product should immediately stop using it and safely dispose of the item in such a way that it cannot be used again.”

The product has since been removed from Amazon.ca.

Amazon said that 762 were sold in Canada.

Health Canada said it has contacted the foreign selling company, which has been “unresponsive to requests to voluntary recall.”
