Chocolate product recalled due to pieces of glass in Canada

A chocolate product that was sold in Canada has been recalled.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said in a notice published Tuesday that it’s being pulled from shelves “due to pieces of glass.”

The affected product is the allo simonne brand Milk Chocolate Spread.

It is 220 g in size, has the UPC number 6 28347 31004 2, and the following codes are impacted: 4-281-25 BB 4/27.

The CFIA said it was distributed to Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, British Columbia, and online.

Consumers are being advised to not use, sell, or distribute the recalled product.
