QEW off-ramp in Oakville to Highway 403 relocated west of current location

East-bound QEW drivers in Oakville looking to access Highway 403 and Ford Drive can do so in one exit again.

According to the Ministry of Transportation, the Oakville off-ramp from the Toronto-bound QEW to 403 eastbound has been reinstated and relocated 1.5 kilometres west of its current location as of Saturday morning.

The ongoing interchange construction project initially created confusion for drivers when the original exit was closed and separate off-ramps were built for the 403 exit and Ford Drive exit.

Access to Ford Drive is now available from Highway 403 eastbound.

Work on the interchange project by the Bot Construction Group is scheduled to be completed this fall.

“Work is on schedule to complete the contract later this year,” the construction company announced on Twitter.
