Power Outage Affecting Over 1,000 Homes and Businesses in Mississauga

A power outage is currently affecting around 1,769 homes and businesses in Mississauga.
According to the Alectra News Twitter account, the outage is impacting homes and businesses in the Burnhamthorpe Road West to Mavis Road and Hurontario Street to Dundas Street West area.
The cause of the outage is unknown at this time, but crews have been dispatched and are investigating.
Power is expected to return by 4 p.m.
