Popular Toronto and GTA Italian restaurant opening in Mississauga

A popular spot for Italian wood-fired pizzas is opening soon in Mississauga.
Il Fornello, an Italian restaurant with locations in Toronto, Oakville and across the GTA, is opening in Mississauga.
The new location is slated to open soon at Sheridan Centre, 2225 Erin Mills Parkway.
Il Fornello says they were the first to offer the authentic style of Neapolitan, thin crust, wood-fired pizza in Toronto — the way “it was meant to be prepared, baked and enjoyed.”
“We pride ourselves on being accessible and affordable, a place where everyone is welcome and everyone feels comfortable,” Il Fornello states on its website.
The menu varies at each location, and the Mississauga menu is not on the website yet.

In Oakville, the menu includes anti-pasta dishes such as bruschetta and rice balls.
Pasta dishes range from linguine with seafood to penne pesto and house-made gnocchi. Pizzas include prosciutto, Margherita, pepperoni, and a grilled veggie.
Il Fornello also has a full plant-based menu with more than 20 vegan items including pizzas and pastas.
The dessert menu includes cheesecakes and the classic Italian tiramisu.
The opening date is not listed yet for the new Mississauga location.
