Loyal Starbucks customers should take note — a popular shop has closed for renovations.

Earlier this month, a post on social media said the Port Credit Starbucks at 111 Lakeshore Rd. W. would closing for renovations from Oct. 11 until Nov. 20.

But now it seems the popular Port Credit shop will remain closed until the beginning of December, according to a post on Instagram.

The cafe cleared out its stock and closed at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11. There are still no details on what changes will be made to the Starbucks.

Fortunately, staff members aren’t losing their jobs.

“…all your favourite baristas are temporarily being placed at different Starbucks locations, but will come back once we reopen,” the post on Instagram reads.

And there are a few choices nearby that people can visit to get their coffee-fix. The closest Starbucks are at 362 Lakeshore Rd. E., 960 Southdown Rd., and 2100 Hurontario St.
