Sheriff Country, a spinoff of Fire Country, stars Morena Baccarin as straight-shooting sheriff Mickey Fox, the stepsister of Cal Fire’s division chief Sharon Leone (Diane Farr of Fire Country).
Fox investigates criminal activity while she patrols the streets of small-town Edgewater, contending with her ex-con father, Wes (W. Earl Brown), who is an off-the-grid marijuana grower, and a mysterious incident involving her wayward daughter, the Paramount + description reads.
The first season of Sheriff Country was number 15 in Nielsen’s multi-platform viewing ranking with over 10 million viewers.
Filming on the series is slated to continue in the Greater Toronto Area until Feb. 12, 2027, according to Ontario Creates.
The first season was also shot in the Greater Toronto Area with many downtown scenes shot in Milton. Chudleigh’s Blossom Café and St. Paul’s United Church were spotted in scenes from the first season.
