Police warn of ‘heightened risks’ associated with Mississauga nightclub

Peel police are warning the public about what they call “heightened risks” associated with a popular nightclub in Mississauga.
Since January 1, 2021, police say they’ve responded to over two dozen incidents in and around HER Adult Entertainment Club, located at 1325 Eglinton Ave. E.
That includes four shootings in the area, two of which happened recently in June and July. Police are currently searching for multiple suspects.
So far, police have seized six firearms, investigated four separate shooting incidents, and responded to numerous other priority calls involving “disorderly behaviour.”
“The elevated police resources allocated to responding to calls for service at this establishment impact our ability to respond to other priority calls promptly,” said police.
Police say they’re continuing to investigate these incidents and working to mitigate the public safety risks associated with the nightclub.
