A driver is wanted by Halton police following a hit-and-run incident on a Burlington street in July.

The incident occurred July 18, around 2 p.m. on Thomas Alton Blvd., when a dark-coloured, four-door sedan was driving eastbound and clipped a parked Audi Q5.

Police have posted video of the incident and are hoping the public can help identify the driver who did not remain on the scene.

In the video, you can see the car hit the parked car in the first few seconds. Then the driver gets out, inspects his vehicle and clearly sees there was damage, before fleeing.

The driver is described as male, early twenties, average build, 5-foot-7, wearing a white long sleeve, shorts and what appears to be blonde hair.

Anyone with information can call police at 905-825-4747. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or at the website.
