Police Searching for Suspect of Robbery and Sexual Assault in Mississauga

Police are searching for the suspect of a recent incident in Mississauga.

Around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, a 34 year old male was walking in the area of Kariya Park near Burnhamthorpe and Kariya Drive.

Police say the male was approached by a suspect who produced a weapon and robbed the victim of his personal belongings.

The suspect then forced the victim into a secluded area where he was sexually assaulted, police allege.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

He is described as a man approximately 5’7 in height, wearing a balaclava-style ski mask and a dark jacket.
