UPDATED: Police Searching for Missing Teenager in Mississauga

Officers have requested the public’s help in locating a missing teenager in Mississauga.
Krystal Dowuona, 14, was last seen on Friday (January 5) around 4:00 p.m. in the area of Derry Road East and Rexwood Road.
Dowuona is described as a black female, 5’6 feet, with a slim build, brown eyes and long black braided hair. She was seen wearing a black jacket, black sweater, black pants and a pink backpack.
Her family is concerned for her well-being. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call police at (905) 453–2121, ext. 2133.
UPDATE: Dowuona has been safely located, Peel police said on Jan. 8. They’re thanking the public for their help.
