Police responding to male with firearm in Mississauga convenience store

A weapons investigation is underway this morning.
At 9:12 a.m., police received reports of a male with a firearm inside a convenience store in the area of Bloor St and Fieldgate Dr.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
Police say road closures are in place as the investigation continues.
Residents are asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
UPDATE (11:14 a.m.): Police say the suspect fled before officers arrived at the scene. The Central Robbery Bureau will be taking over the investigation.
