Police investigating sexual assault against staff member at Ontario golf tournament

23-year-old dead, 2 seriously injured after crash on Ontario highway

Caledon OPP is investigating a sexual assault that occurred on June 12 just after 5:00 pm. at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley during the RBC Canadian Open.

The victim, an event worker, reported being approached near Hole 5 by an intoxicated and disruptive male who allegedly made inappropriate physical contact.

No injuries were reported.

Police are seeking to identify a person of interest described as a white male, 40–45 years old, 5’11″–6′ tall, approximately 230 lbs, with short brown buzz-cut hair and a scruffy brown beard.

He was last seen near Hole 5 heading toward the 13th tee with a group. See attached photograph.
