Officers are investigating a vehicle theft this afternoon.

Police were called around 12:30 p.m. for a carjacking at a gas station in the area of Hurontario and Steeles.

Police were called around 12:30 p.m. for a carjacking at a gas station in the area of Hurontario and Steeles.

No weapons were seen or indicated, and no injuries have been reported, police say.

The vehicle in question is a Chevrolet Equinox with licence plate number BAKH280.

Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call 911.
