Police investigate armed robbery at Shoppers Drug Mart in Milton

Halton police are investigating after an armed robbery took place at a Shoppers Drug Mart in Milton.
According to Constable Steve Elms, Media Relations Officer for Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), the incident occurred on Dec. 10 at 1020 Kennedy Circle.
Elms told insauga.com that the incident, involving a male suspect, took place around 11:30 p.m.
According to Elms, the suspect entered the store with a gun and stole narcotics from the pharmacy.
Elms said the suspect jumped over the counter and demanded narcotics from the pharmacist before fleeing on foot.
According to Elms, the suspect is described as a white male between 5’10” and 6′ tall.

No physical injuries have been reported and the amount and type of narcotics stolen at the time of the report are unknown, according to Elms.
