Police discover gun, drugs during traffic stop in Brampton

Peel Regional Police (PRP) have charged a Brampton man with numerous gun-related charges.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, PRP made a routine traffic stop in the area of Clark Boulevard and Rutherford Road South.
However, further investigation led to officers discovering a loaded Glock 19 semi-automatic gun and methamphetamines.
As a result, 27-year-old Jammarre Miller was arrested and charged with:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Possess Firearm with Altered Serial Number
- Occupant of a Motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
- Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine
