Police believe missing Burlington man with Alzheimer’s headed towards Oakville

An elderly Burlington man has been missing since early yesterday evening.

Hernando Junsay, 80, was last seen around 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, on Eliza Cres., near New St. and Burloak.

Junsay is 5-foot-4, 130 lbs., of Filipino descent and doesn’t speak English. He was wearing a green brown sweater, brown pants and slippers with socks.

Police and family are concerned as he is suffering from early stages of Alzheimer’s.

It is believed Junsay was travelling on his bicycle (black OYMA mountain bike) towards Oakville.
